Within the CMI, we are working with policy-makers and experts from the social sciences and law to ensure that the development of machine intelligence is done in a way that benefits society at large. Impact is delivered by the CMI through:
- the organisation of outreach events in collaboration with our partners from industry and government
- public briefing vents at open days and science festivals to promote machine intelligence to the wider society
- promotional material including videos and social media posts to advertise the achievements of CMI members and the university at large
We welcome partnerships with industry and government agencies to organise events and to co-create research questions.
By engaging with us, you will have access to our talent pool and direct visibility with our students and researchers. We support our partners through joint bids for grants for large projects or through direct consultancy for one-to-one business critical solutions.
