The Centre for Health Technologies (CHT) aims to provide a catalyst for new collaborations and partnerships between the School of Electronics and Computer Science and health partners. Impact is delivered by the CHT through:
- The organisation of outreach events to facilitate matchmaking between health practitioners and ECS researchers.
- Public briefing events at open days and science festivals to share knowledge of advancements in health technologies.
- Promotional material including videos and social media posts to advertise the achievements of CMI members and the university at large.
How do I get involved?
We welcome partnerships with industry and government agencies to organise events and to co-create research questions. We work hard to identify the appropriate researchers within ECS for your problem. We support our partners through joint bids for grants for large projects or through direct consultancy for one-to-one business critical solutions.
Please look for our Annual Clinicians Meet Engineers event in which we facilitate relationship building with our clinical and medical colleagues who are interested in health technology research.
