6. with: MS this 'this' does not make sense; I have assumed that it is a misreading for with (possibly caused by misinterpretation of an initial wyn as thorn; the scribe uses 'w', not 'wyn', throughout the two ME texts copied here), and emended on the basis of similar readings in other versions (Trinity 323, Ys rug wid yerdis suonken 9; Bodley 57, Hys bac wid scuurge iswungen 7).
