On 18 June 2006, long-time friend of the Boldrewood Tunnel Society, Dave Gorman did the London to Brighton Bike Ride. He did it, not because that is the best way to get to Brighton if you live in London. Oh no. That would be a car (just in case you were wondering). He was doing it for charity to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Boldrewood Tunnel Soc sponsored him £2.00 each. It was our BIG D.I.G.. We chose £2.00 because it is about the price of a pint in the Student Union bar.
