The Anna Mahler
Collection (Hartley Library)
The following lists the contents of the
Anna Mahler collection, which includes Mahler's conducting scores, songs and
arrangements, some annotated by himself and therefore of relevance to
performance studies as well as to Mahler scholarship. There are also scores of
Schoenberg's music, inscribed by himself to Alma or Anna Mahler, which date
from the period shortly after Mahler's death. The items in the collection are
summarised according to the categories below. Hartley library catalogue numbers
are given and items may be called up for further details via the library's WEBCAT.
Access is by arrangement with Karen Robson
of the Hartley Library Special Collections.
