These pages contain links to scores produced by the project. All works are reproduced as basic transcriptions; those that have been prepared for rehearsal and/or recording may exist in a variety of formats for different instrumentations or vocal scorings. These adaptations represent both pre-rehearsal input from Deborah Roberts and Laurie Stras, and amendation, ornamentation, scorings and instrumentation suggested by and developed during rehearsal and recording. All the musicians taking part in the project contributed to the process. The adapted scores in no way represent an exclusive performance practice for each piece, but the most comfortable or desirable results we could obtain given the personnel and instruments available — simply one solution among many possible.
Most of the scores have been prepared directly from original sources or microfilms, with the exception of works by Cipriano de Rore and Giaches de Wert. These were initially prepared from the modern editions by Albert Seay and Carol MacClintock, and then checked against original sources/microfilms.
In order for the scores to be viewed properly, the music font Fughetta and the Sibelius plug-in Scorch need to be installed on your computer.
