INQUA Work Group on Glacial Tectonics (WGGT)

INTRODUCTION:

This is an active INQUA workgroup (a sub-group of the INQUA Commission on Glaciation) which anyone who is interested in glaciotectonics is welcome to join. During the last INQUA period the group met in Ireland and Regina, Canada. These meetings included both a chance for members to see interesting sections and hear and discuss presentations. Plans for this INQUA period are being planned at present, and will include some joint meetings with the INQUA Subglacial Processes Workgroup. The group is also involved in the production of a glaciotectonic bibliography - , and the production of a glaciotectonic map for Europe.
