The Gerald Kerkut Charitable Trust

The Gerald Kerkut Charitable Trust (Charity Commission Number 1064724) was established by Professor Kerkut. The objects of the Trust as stated in the Governing Document are :-

"to advance education and research in Physiology at Southampton University by providing bursaries and prizes to students of physiology at Southampton University and publishing the useful results and to or for such other charitable purposes as the trustees shall decide".

Currently the trust is supporting more than 20 postgraduate students in the University of Southampton. The trustees are now inviting applications from within Life Sciences, Medicine, Health Sciences and Psychology for part-funded postgraduate studentships to commence in October 2012.
