Figure 1 - Schematic illustration of a line-of-sight
calculation. A line is interpolated between two cells of the elevation
model (left). If the heights of the intervening cells do not cross this
line (top right) then there is a line of sight, if the height of any
cell does exceed the height of the line (bottom right) then there is no
line of sight.
