What is Meet the Mathematicians?

  1. Ideal for year 12-13/S5-S6 students interested in studying mathematics or a related subject (including physics and engineering) at University level .

  2.     Lectures and interactive sessions with leading UK scientists.

  3.     Talks on applications of mathematics to science and engineering.

  4.     A chance to meet and chat with students and researchers in applied mathematics.

  5.     Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

  6.     There is no charge for this one-day event for participants who have Registered.

  7.     Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

  8.     Parents and teachers are welcome.


The MTM event is organised as part of the British Applied Mathematics Colloquium (BAMC) the largest and most prestigious general meeting of academic researchers in applied mathematics in the UK.
