Performance Discussion

This listing brings together reviews of poetry readings, bibliographies, essays on performance, and studies of particular poets. We welcome submissions which can be formal or informal (send to Peter Middleton- P.Middleton@soton.ac.uk). Shorter files are provided in ordinary web pages, longer files in PDF. Suggestions for further inclusions are also welcome, including out of print material on poetry performances. We are also interested in presenting interviews with poets and organisers of poetry events, about performance. We regret that we can only advertise forthcoming events in special cases.

AHRC project: we are engaged in a research project on the history and poetics of poetry performance in the UK since 1960. Research between September 2002 and September 2003 was funded by a small grant from the AHRC. Research questions.
