In the winter, and when we don't have anywhere else, we shoot at the indoor archery/rifle range.

The archery range is located at the Water Sports Facility (previously known as the Boathard), on Oliver Road, down near Riverside Park. It's within easy walking distance of the Wessex Lane halls, which can be got to on the U1 or U6 busses from the Uni.

In the baking hot summer we like to get friendly with nature and shoot outside. This usually happens at the Wide Lane sports complex type thing. The following map shows where to walk from the U1 bus stop or just follow it from the carpark if you like!

By Car, the entrance is just past Parkway Station entrance on the Eastleigh road, on the left just after a pelican crossing. (you will need your student card for the barrier). Use the car park in front left.
By Bus, U1A to airport railway station, walk over the station bridge and out onto the main road on the other side. There is a pedestrian entrance by the pelican crossing
By Bike, the easiest way is to follow the U1 route but turn left, to use the road bridge over the railway instead of heading for the airport, at the Spitfire (roundabout just after passing under motorway). There is a bike lane on the right hand side which takes you round the 2nd roundabout (heading towards the station again), cross at the pelican crossing and use the foot entrance. Once inside, walk down the gravel path on the LEFT side of the astropitches. This turns left into a tunnel under the road and we shoot on the field at the top of the ramp the other side.
