ARSdoc script

ARSdoc is an ARSperl script for documenting a Remedy ARS server as a set of interlinked web pages.

Version 1.29, both source code and compiled for Windows, is available from Matt Reinfeldt:

Matt has got this version to work with ARS version 6.x servers.

For a single ARS server, ARSdoc lists and gives details of all:

• active links
• administrative extensions (ARS 3.0 only)
• escalations
• forms
• fields
• filters
• groups
• embedded macros
• menus
• messages
• notifications
• names of other servers
• VUIs

Active links and filters for each form are listed in execution order, and sorted according to the trigger, control field, etc.

Menus are cross-referenced against the forms which use them, and unused menus are clearly marked.

The use of every field is cross-referenced, and missing fields and forms documented.

ARSdoc requires:

• ARSperl version 1.8 or later.
• Remedy's API library for ARS
• Perl 5.003 or later.

I will be producing no further version of ARSdoc. If someone wants to take over development they are welcome to it.
