Complaints and Appeals
The University of Southampton is committed to ensuring that we provide our students with a high quality educational experience. The Educational Quality Coordinator for Student Complaints, Appeals and Feedback, a post which currently resides in the Learning and Teaching Enhancement Unit, is engaged in supporting the University in this process. Where possible we believe that every attempt should be made to resolve complaints and appeals informally and closest to the point of when the issue emerges, however we have a formal complaints and appeals procedure through which students may be supported.
Please click on the menu links (left) for links to the University regulations and guidance on procedures for Complaints and Appeals.
Students are advised to contact the Students’ Union Advice and Information Centre (SUAIC - Telephone: 023 8059 2085, Email: suaic@susu.org ) located in the Students’ Union (Building 40) at Highfield Campus for free, independent, specialist support in either of these areas.
For any further information in the area of Student Complaints and Appeals please e-mail Janet Pugh
