Library off–campus store
Some journal stock is now stored off-campus in a remote store.
The more recent stock is available electronically and we anticipate future use via our e-journals service.
There may be rare occasions when the e-journal version is not acceptable, for example:
- The electronic version is corrupt in some way
- An illustration, image or graph may not be clear
- Large print may be a requirement
If so, we can arrange for our original to be supplied from Store.
Some older and closed print only holdings from the biomedical collection have also been sent to the off-campus store. We can arrange for these to be supplied on request.
Requests can be made at the Subject Enquiry Desk on Level 3 of the Hartley Library. As there are likely to be particular circumstances relating to a Store request, we will discuss your needs at the time the request is made.
Most articles will be supplied electronically (as pdf files) but whole volumes will be kept behind the loans desk for reference use. Delivery time is two working days.
Copyright: any articles supplied will require a copyright declaration signature. This must be a written signature and must be the person requesting the article.
