ServiceLine. One contact, one solution! ServiceLine is the central help-line or call centre and answers queries from all users of IT facilities. Therefore, whatever your problem or query you have the convenience of one point of contact.

ServiceLine is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6.00pm on each day that the University is open, and can be contacted by email or telephone.

We endeavour to answer queries immediately. If your query requires specialist technical support, you can be assured that ServiceLine will coordinate the resources to get your query resolved.

When you contact ServiceLine please can you provide us with the following information to help us resolve your enquiry as soon as possible (if you do not provide all or some of this information it may result in a longer resolution time for your enquiry):

  • Your University username
  • Location of reported incident
  • Contact name, and phone number
  • Asset number of equipment if possible (usually starts with ISS or UOS followed by a number)
  • Description of equipment
  • Description of fault
  • Best times to contact you, or arrange a visit (if required)
  • Any other information that you feel relevant, for example an error code, or screen shot.
