Appraisal for all employees

For ERE, MSA, CAO and TAE Pathways

Appraisals form part of an ongoing dialogue between a line manager and employee. Quality appraisal conversations enable us to recognise and reward contribution and effort towards achieving the University’s goals. They are a key tool in supporting, evaluating and recording the performance, development and career aspirations of our people.

The online appraisal form can be accessed via MyView.

The appraisal period runs from 1 August to 31 July each year. Appraisal conversations should be conducted between 1 June to 15 September, to review the previous year’s contribution and development plan and set objectives for the next year.

Appraisers must attend mandatory appraisal training to help ensure quality appraisal conversations.
