Research interests
I have a special interest in the day-to-day life of the past, particularly in medieval England, and I am currently working on an edition of executors’ accounts and inventories for English bishops in the period 1200-1400. I also have interests in the forms of documents throughout the medieval and modern periods, in political papers of the eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and the archives of Anglo-Jewry.
Areas where I can offer postgraduate supervision:
Aspects of daily life in the Middle Ages; themes associated with the Library’s Special Collections
