Postal address for award certificates:

Award certificates are posted to your chosen UK address; therefore, it is your responsibility to make sure that this information is kept updated correctly.  Please check your email and mobile phone details held for you in your self-service student record system.   This must be updated to include a new contact emial address as your University email account will become inactive three months after your award date.  We will also be contacting you by text - please ensure your mobile number is correct.

Names on award certificates:

Graduands are also reminded that they are responsible for the accuracy of their FULL LEGAL NAME as it appears in the self-service student record system, as this is the name that will be announced, appear on your award certificate and entered in the ceremonial programme.  The University of Southampton has a policy whereby award certificates will not be re-issued following a student’s marriage/divorce/change of citizenship.  This includes any changes a student may wish to make to the wording appearing on their award certificate, unless the error was attributable to the University of Southampton.
