MHLS Postgraduate Conference June 2010

The annual MHLS Postgraduate Research Student Conference provides an excellent opportunity for students to share their work with colleagues across the Faculty and to attend keynote lectures given by renowned guest speakers. The conference is designed to provide a realistic experience for students to present their research. Students from each of the Faculty’s four Schools are invited to submit abstracts for poster or oral presentations, depending on the stage of their research work. The majority of the presentations represent two or more years of study. Prizes are available for the best posters; best oral presentations and best published paper (see specific criteria and guidance). prize winners from the 2008/09 ConferenceSenior academic staff members act as chairs of the sessions and contribute to judging panels. We are grateful to all of the sponsors who help to support the conference, many of whom also provide an exhibition of resources and equipment for researchers, alongside the poster display.
