About this course

Improve your knowledge and skills to become an expert practitioner on our MSc Nursing Studies degree. During this part-time master’s top-up award you'll gain the skills to appraise and challenge current practice. You’ll develop and lead evidence-based provision services that meets the needs of a modern health and social care service.

If you completed your PG Diploma with us, this master’s course gives you a chance to top up to a master's degree by studying one of the following:

  • MSc Nursing Studies - you can study this if you’ve completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (pre-registration) adult, child or mental health pathways.
  • MSc Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Studies - you can study this if you’ve completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health Practice: Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (SCPHN)

The course is entirely dissertation-based so you’ll get to focus on a single piece of work.

You’ll graduate with improved career options and will get the chance to move into leadership roles or continue your studies at PhD level.

We regularly review our courses to ensure and improve quality. This course may be revised as a result of this. Any revision will be balanced against the requirement that the student should receive the educational service expected. Find out why, when, and how we might make changes.
