To welcome our international students to the UK, Humanities are pleased to offer pre-sessional EAP course students a collection service from Heathrow Airport in London the day before their course begins.  Students will be met at London Heathrow Airport and directed to a coach service which will take the student to either Winchester or Southampton. 

To book the service

To book this service, please fill out the application form below. When booking your flight please arrive on the day before a course commences.  The last bus service leaves at 10pm and you must book a flight that is due to arrive before 8pm in order to make use of the service provided.

You must only bring a maximum of 1 large suitcase with you. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate friends or family but any persons that arrive at Heathrow with you can use the National Express coaches for their forward journey to Southampton.

If you plan to arrive after 8pm at Heathrow or on a different day to the arrival days then we suggest you book a seat on the National Express service to either the University of Southampton or Winchester as appropriate. The National Express coach can deliver you directly to the Highfield campus at Southampton and then you can travel to your accommodation by uni-link bus.

Where to meet in Heathrow

Please find our meet and greet helpers who will be wearing bright green t-shirts with a University of Southampton Meet and Greet logo. They will be located in the ARRIVALS area of Terminal 3. If you arrive in Terminal 1, 2, 4 or 5 please make your way following the signs and transport to Terminal 3 Arrivals. When you arrive in Terminal 3 Arrivals please find a University of Southampton representative waiting near the arrivals doors (marked with red crosses) or near Millies cookie bar (no.11 on MAP of area) where we will be asking students to congregate when they arrive. You must find us before the coach is due to leave.
