in the chemical industry, either on graduation or after completion of a PhD degree. A Chemistry
degree from Southampton is recognised by employers as a badge of quality which is a great credit to the many students who have gone into industry having completed a degree with us.
Going into the chemical industry reveals the diversity of jobs that are available. Whether you choose to enter a laboratory environment or take on a role that uses your chemistry skills in a non-practical sense you will find that there are many different opportunities, all with different challenges and career profiles.
