Biography

Cameron Neylon studied for a first degree in Biochemistry at the University of Western Australia before moving to the Research School of Chemistry at the Australian National University to study for a PhD with Dr Nick Dixon. After his doctoral studies he moved to the United Kingdom to take up a Wellcome Trust International Travelling Fellowship at the University of Bath. At Bath he worked on the screening of a constrained peptide library for ligands of G-protein coupled receptors. In 2001 he moved to the School of Chemistry at Southampton as Lecturer in Combinatorial Chemistry. Current research includes developing new approaches for combinatorial biology and directed evolution, site specific labeling of proteins, and structural changes involved in protein-DNA binding processes.
