Career Destinations Feedback
We always welcome feedback to help us understand and improve our services.
Here are examples of ways in which we have responded to feedback we have received from students in the past:
- You said that you didn’t know what the Graduate Passport was.
We increased our marketing, made the marketing more easy for you to spot, and made the information clearer for you to understand. - You said that as a volunteer you wanted more high-level opportunities, and more opportunities in sports.
We sourced opportunities specifically related to sports, and encouraged organisations to consider how they can create placements to better use your skills. - You said that as a volunteer you didn’t understand what kind of an impact you were having on the local community.
We added a section into the training sessions explaining what kind of an impact you’re having. - You said that you wanted more variety in the jobs advertised through the service.
We looked at the range of organisations that we work with and encouraged organisations from less well represented areas to register their vacancies with us. - You said that you would like emails sent to you by Career Destinations to be targeted and reflect your interests.
We have changed the vacancy system. You can now set your preferences by using the student portal on our website. This means you are informed about events and vacancies that are of interest to you.
