Campus Watch

Campus watch logoCampus Watch is a variation of the crime prevention 'watch' schemes that exist in various guises around the UK (Neighbourhood, Business, Shop, Pub etc). The introduction of the Campus Watch scheme at Southampton University aims to create an environment in which all sections of the campus community can pursue their lives and interests safely, free from victimisation and the fear of crime.

The scheme also provides a regular means of communication between the participating groups, specifically the Police, the University and the Students' Union.

Cycle locks

The University offers cyclists one of the most secure anti-theft devices on the market today. The TREK "Armoured Campus V Lock" combines a hardened high grade steel shackle with a strengthened cable and is available through the University at £20 (rrp £40).

Web track
